JM has signed an agreement regarding divestment of the external construction operations in Norway, JM Entreprenør AS, to Vicon a company within the Norwegian KB Group.
JMs remaining operations will onwards focus on civil engineering operations in their current form, where there are clear synergies with JM’s project development of residential units.
Following the transaction, Vicon rebranded and is currently known as STØ Entreprenør. KB Gruppen, majority owner in Stø Entreprenør, wanted to establish i new Norwegian turnkey contractor within new construction projects. The aim was to achive substantial synergies in combination with property development projects. STØ is a highly versatile contractor and have performed most types of new construction. From churches and cultural buildings to housing and shopping centers.
